Season one, ANBRWY asked you to “think new” by bringing in guests who shifted their own perspectives to change their lives… and in sharing those stories, the show perhaps surfaced questions for you to sit with as well. Always giving you a safe place to sit with them.

Season two built on that, focused on building dreams. To look at things a bit differently, question limitations so you could create a dream you’ve always had. Still in a safe place to explore.

Shifting perspectives has always been the thread…through every season, every guest, and every question for ANBRWY. Seeing how one thing can tie one moment to the next, to build momentum and strength.

Thread can also be fragile; pull on it hard enough, and it can unravel everything…

This season we’re peeling back the layers of media, opinion, and theory to get to the facts underneath. Putting aside what we may have always thought or believed to see clearly how our political systems actually work, and take the country’s temperature on where the checks and balances are holding and where they’re not.

When a question feels leading, it’s often revealing something else. Sometimes it means an answer has been internalized without examining the system that produced it. Sometimes it means there’s never been a reason (or perhaps an invitation) to even examine it at all. A quiet truth (worth saying out loud)

That discomfort isn’t something to resolve or soften. It’s something to notice.

The ANBRWY Podcast methodology

The Bedrock

1
Anchored to mechanics, not moments.
We ask how the system is designed to work, not how it is being used in any particular moment. This keeps the focus on structure, not spectacle.
2
Interrogating process, not ideology.
Process is neutral. Process is readable. Process is where accountability lives. Discomfort often arises when outcomes are examined without first understanding the process that produces them.
3
Refusing to pre-load conclusions.
We don’t tell people what the answer is, or even that there is one they should like. The text exists. The system exists. We begin there.
